Carter jinxes shutout, plans to ‘sit on peas’

Thank goodness for the B league as the Rams notched a rare win Sunday at Winterpit. Outnumbering their opponent 12 skaters to 5, it took a while for the Rams to finally take charge with a 4-goal second period. Gil played well in the nets, well enough for Carter to congratulate him on two shutout periods. Shortly thereafter, Seravalli got their lone tally, a PP goal that likely should’ve been interrupted by a whistle for a frozen puck. The Rams went on to win 7-1. There was no formal apology for the Jinx but Carter did reveal he plans to “sit on
peas” for a few days following a relatively non-invasive surgical procedure on his vas deferens.
