Rams Answer Tough Questions

There were many questions to be answered Sunday as the Rams faced defending CML-B champion Murphy’s B squad. One: will they have enough beer to compete with Murphy’s B? Two: will they have enough youth to compete? Three: will they have enough players?
Art supplied the beer. Beer supplied the youth. And thank goodness, Bernie, Kane, Golin, and Kratzer didn’t play for Murphy’s instead of the Rams. Although everyone was wondering if it would be better just to fly to Vegas to visit Leo.
Goat opened the scoring for the Rams in the first, but Hippie would tie it up at 1 — pounding like an ironworker – with less than a 10 seconds left in the opening stanza. Murphy’s B went up early in the second 2-1 on a goal by Farrell before the Rams got their act together to finish the second period up 6-2.
Murph’s made a push at the end, getting within 2, but the Rams won it 7-4. Highlights included a 3-point night by Dan, and 2 goals apiece from DK and TS for the Rams. Horger, Farrell, Bryce, and Wochok scored for Murph’s.
BTW — Not sure who won the 4th.

For the record, it was 4-2 Rams in the 5th period at the bar. Also, Farrell didn’t play. That was one of the guys from the Thunder.
