Flyers lose, and may face penalty

Against the backdrop of the Patrice Bergeron incident one month ago today, the Flyers are again about to face disciplinary measures from the NHL after last night’s 6-3 loss to the Boston Bruins at the Wachovia Center.
With the Flyers trailing by 5-2 in the second period, forward Scott Hartnell came across the ice to hit defenseman Andrew Alberts with a head shot that left another Boston player injured. He will be evaluated today, the Bruins said.

Would have been a good non-call.

  2. Dr. Bumba says:

Another bullshit call in a bullshit league. Maybe Alberts should have watched Coatsey’s Corner between the 1st and 2nd last night when he talked about not putting yourself in a vulnerable position.

  3. Art says:

Bumba, you kind of lose all credibility when you recommend someone watch Coatsey’s Corner.

  4. Art says:

Not that I don’t agree with you.

  5. Dr. Bumba says:

I agree with the Coatsey Corner comment Art, but for once, Coatsey was talking about something that made sense.

  6. Thirsty Goalie says:

Jessica Alba, RR and the Pork Roll were all absent again this morning. Maybe one of the 3 will show up next week.

  7. Kierstan says:

The nachos were delicious last night. Deliciously cheesy, not like cheetos though. (and I didn’t see that hit, they made it up).

  8. I ate all the donuts says:

Thanks to Jones, Jenks, Morasco, Rob Mel, Gunning, Bern and the little guy for not showing for donuts this morning. Shame, shame on you all! May you all get as fat as RR.

  9. Jenks says:

    My bad boys….I feel shame.

  10. RR says:

    IN, no, too late
