Rams win 5-2, Kevin Ties Thor for Points

It wasn’t pretty — that’s what the 4th period is for — but the Rams edged the Continentals 5-2 in their final meeting of the regular season. Carter led the way with 2 goals, followed by Colin, Heron, and Shoup. Kevin’s 20, 21, or maybe even 22 saves were impressive, but not as much so as his assist (a rebound) on Carter’s end-to-end tally. The assist, his 3rd of the season, ties Thor. Thor plays with a regulation stick.

The 2nd assist came off of a rebound. This time I creatively set up Carter for his end to end rush by stopping the puck on a dump-in. This type of play making abilty is something you are born with and cannot be learned.

sorry for the misprint. let’s hope they do not implement a trapezoid next season to slow you down.

kev, you know you learned that by watching hextall. screw that brodeur guy.

Also, let’s not forget the 4th assist I had at the beginning of the season to Mike Brand. I hit him perfectly in stride….heading full speed at our net!

That was fantastic puck movement Kevin. And just think, when I smacked the puck off the back of the net, right out front to their guy, when you made the save I had a lane to get you another assist as well.
