Pizza and Beer Cure “Tie Depression”

There’s a lot to say about the Rams 5-5 tie with the Zebras Sunday. But after after a trip to Big Heads for pizza and pitchers who has the energy. So, the Rams were down 1-0 after the first period in a pretty even contest. Carter decided that the defense had to score goals, so he went on a nice end-to-ender to tie it at one early in the second.
About a minute later it was 4-1 Zebras. And six minutes later – when the forwards got in on the act – it was 5-4 rams … thanks to goals by Billy, Golin (2) and Carter again. Golin’s came with .2 seconds left. Rams took the lead into the third period, and survived a full two mintues with the two-man disadvantage, only to give up the tying goal with :30 left.
Next game: Sunday vs. Penguins at 4:30.
