Sabres Going Forward, Backwards

The Sabres had a press conference this afternoon regarding their new uniforms.
The Sabres announced that they are going to wear their original jersey for 15 games this season. They also plan on going forward with their new uniforms and logo this season. That jersey and logo will be revealed sometime in September.
The Sabres managing director also admitted that the logo leaked on the Internet a few weeks ago is from the Sabres, but says there will be some modifications before the unveiling. Backlash for the new logo had grown since the look was first leaked.
Seems to me the Sabres are appeasing their fans with this move and stalling to fix the issue they’re having with the new look.

The fans are right, the new logo is fugly. They should have gone with one of those navy and gold schemes that was floating around the internet about a year ago. They basically just updated the style of the old uniforms. Art, do you still have a link to that?

Here’s the link to the guy who actually had a clue when it came to bringing back the blue and gold.
