Thornton Named MVP


Thornton win Hart Trophy as NHL MVP

Traded by the Boston Bruins earlier in the season, Joe Thornton responded by winning the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s Most Valuable player with the San Jose Sharks.
Thornton won the award over Calgary goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff and New York Rangers forward Jaromir Jagr.
