Brodeur inks six-year deal with Devils

Star goaltender Martin Brodeur has agreed to a $31.2-million US, six-year contract extension with the New Jersey Devils, a source said Friday.
The deal will pay him $5.2 million a year starting next season. He’ll be 40 years old at then end of the new deal following the 2011-12 season which likely ensures he’ll play his entire NHL career with the Devils.
