Has anyone been better than Handzus?

The best player on the Flyers this season?
Not Peter Forsberg.
Simon Gagne? Sorry.
And Mike Knuble would be a good guess, too.
But the best Flyer from start to finish, one end of the rink to the other, has been Michal Handzus.
So says none other than his coach, Ken Hitchcock.
All during this crazy season of injuries and lineup changes, the 6-foot-5 Handzus has been a tower of power.
He kills penalties, mans the power play and has been one of the most consistent 5-on-5 players on the roster.

Letter of intent signed for Blues sale

Bill and Nancy Laurie finally may have found a buyer for the St. Louis Blues. The Lauries on Tuesday signed a letter of intent to sell the Blues and the Savvis Center’s operating lease to General Sports and Entertainment, LLC.
