Rams Win Opener

WILLOW GROVE – The Rams beat the Continentals 5-1 last night in their season
opener. Solid all around play and patience helped provide the crucial 1st
Rams win over the defending champs. Carter Leonards scored the game winner,
and Chris Golin scored 2 goals to secure the victory in his Rams debut.
Kevin Dowell stopped 21 shots in his new sexy maroon belly jersey behind a
solid Rams defensive corps. Straight from the Goat’s mouth, “the new guys
fit in really well, and they can hang in the locker room.” The Rams look to
build on this momentum Sunday against their fellow green foes, the Bandits @
7:50pm.
NOTEWORTHY: Dave Kratzer’s awesome old school helmet was de-faced
with a shitty produced STAPLES decal, that is now enforced by the league to
prevent sand baggers.

Of course the new Rams had all of the goals. The old Rams can’t even find the inside of an opponents net.

  4. Kevin says:

Hopefully the previous post was by someone from the Continentals, because I know a Penguin wouldn’t/shouldn’t refer to themselves as such.
