Clark Gable’s line to Vivien Leigh in “Gone With the Wind, “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn,” was named the top line by the American Film Institute. Marlon Brando came number at number two and three with “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse,” from “The Godfather” and “I coulda been a contender” from “On the Waterfront.” Rounding out the top five was “Toto, I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore,” from “The Wizard of Oz” and “Here’s looking at you, kid,” from Casablanca.
Tragically, “Qui n’a pas paye” was left off the list as the American Film Institute regarded “Lagerheads 2005” as a foreign film, since was filmed in Canada.
