Rams Getting Raz’d for Sunday’s Contest

raz.jpgGlenside — In a sparsely attended news conference at Ludwigs Antiques in Glenside, Rams brass today announced a goalie change for Sunday’s 7:20 pm game against the Shamrocks.
Kevin Dowell, the usual protector of the twine, is out. In is Richard “Raz” Risley, a wiley veteran of the Wissahickon Hoagie Brothers Pick Up league in Chestnut Hill.
“Raz has a lot of spark, and he’s great in the room” said the Rams public relations director. “I just hope nobody calls him a tree hugger like Jenkins did.”
The Rams sit in third place in the eastern conference of the Wintersport Mens Cup A/B League. A win Sunday will push them 2 more points ahead of the shamrocks, and help them gain ground on the Penguins and Continentals. Rams face the Penguins Wednesday November 24th. The second of three meetings between the rivals who tied their first time around.
